One-day Time Management Training

Introduction:

Understanding the secrets of time brings effectiveness, joy and freedom in our life. It is because time is a unique resource that all humans are granted equally. All of us have the same amount – 24 hours a day, yet the experience of it differ from person to person. The one who knows the secrets yield more out of it.

Time cannot be accumulated it as other resources. It is spent 60 seconds per minute by every one of us. Once it is lost, it cannot be replaced or rediscovered. But knowing how to manage time can maximize it. This training is for those who want to make the most out of time.

Time management is a skill and also an attitude. We can learn the skills just as other management skills. We can develop the attitude just as other aspects of personality. Better time management means more effectiveness and higher efficiency. This training program shares the universal principles of time management, equip you with skills and enhance attitude towards time. At the same time it recognizes that time management is a personal process and must fit your style and circumstances. So, it leaves some features to your free choice.

  • Time-wasters:
    • Self-generated (disorganization, procrastination, Inability to say 'no', gossip, unnecessary perfectionism)
    • Environmental (Visitors, telephone calls, mails, waiting for someone, unproductive meetings, crises, coffee time conversation, unused reports)
  • Office technology to save time
  • Higher dimensions of time management
    • Time management or self-management?

    • How to become the source of time instead of victim of time?
  • Summarization with four generations of time management and Time Management Matrix (as in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey)
