Training > Advocacy & Influencing- A 4- days course

Introduction and Objectives

Advocacy is about active support of an idea or cause to bring in Desired Changes to achieve the targeted objective. It is a work that empowers, mobilizes and leads to social transformation. Advocacy provides constructive solutions to generate real and positive changes to lead towards the goal. Advocacy is a way of making sure that important messages are heard and required action taken.

Organizations do not only work, they constantly advocate for a change. They persistently struggle to influence at both policies and practices. However, the effectiveness of advocacy and influencing depends on strategic planning and skillful execution.

The objective of this four-day course is to enhance/reinforce the knowledge and understanding of the participants about advocacy, its strategies and approaches and the skills to design advocacy initiatives for effective implementation.

The participants will also learn the influencing skills required in the course of advocacy.
